Honeycrisp Apple Campaign (2024)
For this project in our Design Studio class, we were assigned to come up with an opinion that we believe in and could develop a visual system around to convince others of our opinion. The intended outcome was a campaign with an analog and digital component that worked in conjunction with each other.
To advocate for my belief that Honeycrisp apples are the best kind of apple, I created a series of folded paper boxes to be placed around the RISD campus and the larger Providence area, each holding a single Honeycrisp apple. The inside of the box contains a QR code that leads to a website that provides further information about Honeycrisp apples, and locations for local farms growing Honeycrisp apples. These components work together to emphasize the brilliance of the Honeycrisp by designating the apple as one that is worthy of being individually packaged and cherished through a dedicated website.
